We are looking for graduate & undergraduate students with enthusiasm for laboratory research with green chemistry methods and/or educational research in chemistry (the best practices of teaching and learning of chemistry)! Members of the group can look forward to learning to:

Collect data in-person and online

Analyze data using various qualitative and quantitative methods

Prepare high-quality research oral and poster presentations

Learn about bench chemistry skills such as organic and inorganic synthesis

Characterize materials using modern analytical instruments (e.g. FT-IR, NMR, PXRD, UV-Vis, fluorescence, SEM, TEM, etc.)

Apply materials to solve real-world problems (instruments may be used: UV-Vis, LC-MS, GC-MS, etc.)

Write competitive manuscripts for the top-tier chemistry/education research journals.
